Sibu Olive
(Canarium Odontophyllum Miq)

DABAI is a native fruit of Sarawak harvested by local natives
and sold it in the native market. The external colour of
DABAI is black while the fresh of the fruit is yellow in
colour. The seed in the centre is yellow and diamond in
shape.
You will need to soak them in hot water until the flesh
softens. After that, add some soy sauce or salt or sugar
depending on individual preferences.
Fruits are available seasonally.
